When does the school day begin? What are the bell times?

The school day begins with the first bell at 8:00 a.m. The bell rings at the beginning and end of each recess and lunch.

When do buses arrive and leave the school each day?

The buses arrive at our school between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and leave between 2:00 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. each day.

Where can I park?

If you are coming to the school during school hours, you will be directed by our Security Officer where you can park to avoid obstructing traffic flow. There should be no vehicles parked where buses come in or turn during bus times.

Where can I drop off my child?

Our Security Officer will direct you on drop off, while our on-duty staff will receive children dropped off from 7:30 a.m. 

What is the best way to get in touch with a teacher?

The student  is a great communication tool for parents/guardians to write notes or requests to classroom teachers such as changes in schedules, homework challenges and other important information. Parents can also call the school admin desk.

What do I do if my child is sick and cannot come to school?

If your child is sick, please do not send him/her to school. Children who are too sick to go outside for recess or participate in physical education should be kept at home until they are able to participate fully in the school day. Please call the school admin before 7:40 a.m. to inform us that your child will be absent.

What awards are presented to students at UCAN SCHOOLS  on an annual basis?

General:

Grade 6 Graduates:
